Pool Maintenance in Baytown, TX

Weekly full-service pool care across Baytown, Channelview, Pasadena, La Porte, and Northshore. Balanced water, healthy equipment, zero surprises.

Weekly Pool Service That Catches Problems Before They Cost You

A pool that looks clean on the surface can still be one bad week away from a $2,000 repair. Neglected chemistry eats through heaters and salt cells. A filter that hasn't been checked in six months stops moving water long before it stops running. Most of the expensive repairs we get called in for trace back to maintenance that quietly wasn't happening.

P-Jay's Pools has been running weekly pool maintenance routes across Baytown and East Houston for more than 15 years. Our approach is simple — show up when we say we will, document every visit, explain what we're doing before we do it, and flag small issues while they're still cheap to fix. That's why most of our customers have been with us for years.

What's Included in Weekly Full Service

Every weekly visit covers the full picture — not just a quick skim and dose of chlorine. Our technicians run through a consistent checklist so nothing gets missed:

  • Water chemistry test & adjustment — chlorine, pH, total alkalinity, calcium hardness, cyanuric acid (stabilizer), and salt levels for saltwater pools.
  • Skimming & surface cleaning — leaves, debris, and bugs off the top before they sink and stain.
  • Vacuuming — manual or automated, covering the entire pool floor.
  • Brushing walls, steps, and tile line — prevents algae adhesion and calcium scale.
  • Basket cleanout — skimmer baskets, pump basket, and automatic cleaner bags.
  • Filter check — pressure reading, backwash or cartridge inspection when needed.
  • Equipment walk-through — pump, heater, filter, automation/timers, salt cell, and any visible plumbing. Issues get photographed and reported.
  • Visit report — what was done, what was adjusted, and any red flags you should know about.

Flat Rate Premium Plan vs. Monthly A La Carte

We offer two ways to structure your service so you can pick what fits your property and your budget:

Premium Service Plan (Flat Rate)

One-time seasonal fee covers a full season of service — weekly visits, pool opening and closing, heavy-duty vacuuming, pool chemicals, routine service calls (excluding equipment, parts, or masonry), and winter maintenance. Best for owners who want a single predictable invoice and no surprise charges during the season.

A La Carte (Monthly)

Weekly service billed on a monthly basis, with routine service calls billed by the hour. Best for owners who want flexibility or are only in the pool part of the year. Call us directly for current fees and related charges — we'll quote your specific pool, not a generic range.

Commercial & HOA Pool Service

Apartment complexes, HOAs, and multi-family properties run on stricter standards than residential pools — health-department compliance, higher bather loads, and zero tolerance for unexpected closures. We service commercial properties across the East Houston area with documented weekly visits, chemistry logs, and proactive equipment maintenance. Property managers: we'll put together a custom service agreement that works with your budget and reporting requirements. See our commercial maintenance case study for an example of an active apartment complex account.

Service Area

Our weekly routes cover Baytown and the surrounding East Houston communities. If your pool is in one of these areas, chances are we already run a truck through your neighborhood:

Frequently Asked Questions

How often should my pool be serviced?

Most Baytown pools need weekly service during swim season (March–October) and bi-weekly service during the cooler months. Heavy tree cover, high bather loads, or commercial properties typically need weekly service year-round.

What does pool maintenance cost?

Cost depends on pool size, equipment, and service frequency. We quote every pool individually after a short site walk or a few photos. Call (281) 838-0576 or send us a message for a free quote.

What if my pool has turned green?

Green water is almost always an algae bloom from a chemistry imbalance or filter failure. We handle green-pool restorations as a one-time service, then put the pool on a maintenance plan to make sure it doesn't come back.

Do you service saltwater pools?

Yes. We service both traditional chlorine and salt-chlorine pools, including salt-cell inspection, cleaning, and replacement.

What about pool openings, closings, and freeze events?

Both are included in our Premium Service Plan. A-la-carte customers can book openings and closings individually. We also run freeze-preparation checks during Gulf Coast cold snaps — the kind of prep that keeps pipes from splitting.

Ready to stop thinking about your pool?

We'll come out, look at your pool, and give you a straight quote on weekly maintenance. No pressure, no surprises.
